On the morning of October 26, 2016, Esq. Sun Min undertook the legal lecture activity with the theme of “Medical Accident Dispute” in Community” for the community residents on the invitation of Green Home (Media Village), Chaoyang District.

       Esq. Sun Min gave the description and analysis on the social phenomenon such as the current tense doctor-patient relation, inappropriate patient right defense, and medical turbulence causing criminal liabilities, and reminded the residents that they should protect their own rights and interests rationally by legal ways:
       Firstly, after the occurrence of medical dispute, the litigant should well control the litigation time. Article 37 of Medical Accident Treatment Regulation stipulated that the litigant might submit the treatment application for medical accident in health administrative department within one year from the date when the litigant knew or should know his or her physical damage;  
      Secondly, all the materials and evidence from seeing the doctor to right defense period should be well maintained in order to differentiate the responsibilities and obtain the deserved compensation;   
      Thirdly, the sealing and maintenance of case report and evaluation procedures of medical accident should be valued. During the statement of ideas to the expert team, you should try the best to point out the mistake actions of the medical institution accordingly;  
       Finally, you may take different channels such as administrative means and litigation to rationally protect your own rights and interests to avoid new problems and disputes caused in the process of the negotiation with the medical party.
